Blake pioneered the social gaming category by creating some of the biggest apps ever (50 Million players) on Facebook, including Zombies and Vampires and many other games. Blake was also a key member of the team that created Causes on Facebook, which has raised over $20 million for various charities. Blake was a Founder and the CTO at Ohai - a company creating a Flash MMOG. Previously, he was a Co-Founder at Mogad, Lead Engineer at Causes (Facebook Causes), Founder of a company that focused on fundraising for non-profits on MySpace, a Senior Engineer at Plaxo and the Founding Engineer of BuildForge. He sits on the Advisory Board of several companies in the Bay Area and Austin. Blake has a BA in Computer Science from Rice University.
John has been creating and leading Web startups since 1994. Most recently, John was the Founder/GM of pioneering social TV startup, Tunerfish (a business unit of Comcast Interactive Media), which launched innovative partnerships with HBO, Showtime, CBS, NBC, and Sony Pictures, among others. Prior to that, John was the VP of Marketing and a key member of the leadership team that turned around Plaxo, one of the pioneering social media sites, leading to its acquisition by Comcast in 2008. Since 1994, John has led some combination of product, marketing, and business development for a total of seven web startups (four venture-backed; three within other companies). Along the way, he has been a driving force behind many industry firsts, including: the first commercial HTML editor, the first Java licensing deal, the first Java IDE, the first line of turnkey web servers, and the first commercial website sponsorship deal (Hotwired, 1994). John has an MBA from Stanford GSB and an SB from M.I.T.
Calvin is a seasoned advertising industry executive, who has led advertising sales and operations for over 15 years at innovative startups. Most recently, Calvin was EVP Sales and Operations at SnakBlox, where he helped major brands like Esquire, American Express, and Arby's track and generate ROI on social media. Calvin also co-founded Icelounge Media, a social interest graph startup focused on building interest based communities for women. Calvin was Chief Operating Officer and EVP Sales and Operations for Appssavvy, Inc., where he help grow the startup to an enterprise business reaching 100 million uniques, 1 billion impressions per month, executed over 300 brand campaigns, and increased revenue 10X. Calvin was co-founder and SVP Revenue and Client Solutions at Community Connect Inc. (acquired by Radio One), one of the Top 25 highest traffic networks on the Internet at the time. Calvin holds a BA from New York University Leonard N. Stern Business School.
Dan is a game industry veteran with a depth and breadth of technical experience accumulated over years of building games for practically every platform available. He started his career at Electronic Arts developing half a dozen hugely successful PC and console games before making the transition into the social and mobile space. He has built the MediaSpike engineering department from the ground up and continues to use his experience in game development and content delivery to drive forward the technical vision for the MediaSpike platform. Dan has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
